I'm a Statistics & Data Science student researching and building quantitative trading systems — from custom technical indicators to backtesting pipelines and live paper-trading execution.
I'm currently completing a B.S. in Data Science and Statistics at UC Santa Barbara, after earning an A.A. in Mathematics, Data Science and Statistics from Cerritos College. My focus sits at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and financial markets — I like taking an idea from "does this pattern actually hold up" to a tested, running system.
Outside of coursework, I actively trade equities and crypto, which feeds directly into the research I do: every indicator or signal I build gets tested against how markets have actually behaved, not just how the textbook says they should.
